Our Roots

Rabbi Abby is the spiritual leader of Beth Israel Congregation in Vineland, NJ and a NJ Licensed Addictions Specialist.  She co-founded RAPHA: The Center for Healing and Spirituality with Kohenet Ma'ayana Tishman in 2018 and serves as it's director. Rabbi Abby integrates her 32 years as a therapist, a trauma survivor and a person in long term recovery with her rabbinate to bring the power and richness of Judaism to those of all backgrounds seeking healing, spirituality and community connections.
